Our Story: It All Started with a Feeling…

Hello, and welcome to Couch To Crunches. My name is Charles Invernizy, and I’m the founder of this community.

And to be completely honest, I’m not a professional bodybuilder or a celebrity trainer. For years, I was just like so many people who want to get healthier: I was stuck.

The thought of walking into a big, crowded gym was overwhelming. I felt intimidated, unsure of what to do, and convinced that everyone was watching and judging my every move. I bought a gym membership once and went a total of three times. It felt like a world I didn’t belong in, and I believed that my chance to get fit was locked behind those gym doors.

My turning point wasn’t some dramatic, life-altering event. It was a simple, quiet promise I made to myself: just 10 minutes of movement, every single day, right here at home. No commute, no audience, no pressure.

That small commitment changed everything.

Those first 10 minutes turned into 20, then 30. I discovered that I didn’t need complicated machines or heavy weights to challenge my body and see real results. I was getting stronger, my energy levels soared, and for the first time, I felt in control of my own health. The confidence I gained wasn’t just physical; it transformed how I approached every aspect of my life.

Our Mission: Real Fitness for Real People

I created Couch To Crunches for one simple reason: to prove to others that you don’t need a gym or expensive gear to transform your life.

This site is the guide I wish I had when I was starting out. It’s a place free of judgment and intimidation, filled with clear, straightforward advice and workout plans that are designed for a real life and a real home. Our mission is to give you the starting point and the supportive guidance you need to go from the couch to your first crunch, and well beyond.

We believe that fitness should be accessible, empowering, and something you can look forward to.

Thank you for being here. Let’s start this journey together.
